Scrap wheat and change up your pantry with some good old nutritious spelt products! Biona’s Organic Spelt Spinach Tagliatelle is a great source of fibre and contains more protein and minerals than traditional wheat pasta. It has a silky smooth texture that’s easy to eat and has a deliciously delicate nutty taste.

To some, it’s just a grain. But to us, it’s much more. Spelt is an ancient grain that has been cultivated for around 9,000 years. It’s packed with nutrients and an important source of fibre and minerals such as Manganese, Phosphorous, Niacin, Zinc and Iron.
It has potential health benefits such as lowering your risk of stroke, type 2 diabetes and heart attacks.

Enjoy Spelt Spinach Tagliatelle with creamy or tomatoey sauces, homemade pesto or plain on top of salads. Eat it hot or cold, no matter the weather, this tagliatelle is perfect for every occasion!

Frequently Asked Questions

What sauce can I cook with Spelt Spinach Tagliatelle?

Spelt Spinach Tagliatelle tastes great with any sauce you pair it with. However, if you’re a bit like us, nothing beats a delicious creamy sauce with spinach pasta. Follow this recipe by the Minimalist Baker and try not to eat it all at once!

1 Garlic Head, roasted for 1 hour at 204 C with 1 tsp Olive Oil. Cut off the head and place in the oven
1 cup cashews, soaked for 1 hour in boiling water
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast, add more to taste
1/4 Tsp
3/4 cup water

Boil water in a pan and add salt. Add 100g (1 portion) of tagliatelle and simmer for 4-5 minutes. Drain and serve!

Add the cooked garlic, soaked cashews, dry ingredients and water to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Drain the pasta and place in a serving bowl - voila! Enjoy now and thank us later.
