What sauce can I cook with Spelt Spinach Tagliatelle?
Spelt Spinach Tagliatelle tastes great with any sauce you pair it with. However, if you’re a bit like us, nothing beats a delicious creamy sauce with spinach pasta. Follow this recipe by the Minimalist Baker and try not to eat it all at once!
Sauce:
1 Garlic Head, roasted for 1 hour at 204 C with 1 tsp Olive Oil. Cut off the head and place in the oven
1 cup cashews, soaked for 1 hour in boiling water
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast, add more to taste
1/4 Tsp
3/4 cup water
Pasta:
Boil water in a pan and add salt. Add 100g (1 portion) of tagliatelle and simmer for 4-5 minutes. Drain and serve!
Add the cooked garlic, soaked cashews, dry ingredients and water to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Drain the pasta and place in a serving bowl - voila! Enjoy now and thank us later.
