Biona Organic Chilli Borlotti Beans are perfect for barbunya pilaki (Turkish borlotti beans). Here is how to make it!

Rinse and drain 1 can of Biona Organic Chilli Borlotti Beans. Heat ⅖ cups of olive oil in a pan on a medium heat. Fry 1 finely chopped onion until soft, but not browned. Stir regularly. This should take 5 to 8 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped. Fry for another 1 minute, stirring the whole time.

Stir in 2 chopped tomatoes, 2 diced carrots, 1 peeled and diced potato and a 400 gram tin of Biona Organic Chilli Borlotti Beans. Add 50 millilitres of water and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and bring to the boil. Then turn down the heat and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.

Remove from heat and, keeping the lid on, allow it to cool to room temperature. Serve, garnished with parsley and lemon juice.
