Is this Sweet Freedom Caramel Syrup a good choice for diabetics?

The Sweet Freedom Caramel Syrup contains only the naturally occurring sugars in the fruits used to make it - apples and carob. This means that it has much less of an effect on blood sugar levels than your typical table sugar. 

Sweet Freedom does have customers with diabetes, including one of the founders' husbands, that use their products successfully. It is, however, advised that they are consumed sparingly and that any diet changes are talked over with a doctor.
