Product Overview

Clearspring Organic Sunflower Oil is made with 100% cold-pressed European Sunflower seeds.

Sunflower seeds are naturally high in vitamin E, and every 100 ml of Clearspring sunflower oil contains about 46 mg of vitamin E! It is also high in omega-6 and omega-9, and unlike regular cooking oil, is low in saturated fat. 

As a cooking oil, cold-pressed sunflower oil has a smoke point at around 100°C and is ideal for sautéing and stir-frying. Although refined sunflower oil has a neutral taste, cold-pressed sunflower oil has a pleasant, light nutty flavour. It is often used raw in dressings and sauces. When added to salads, it adds a taste similar to toasted sunflower seeds.

This delightful flavour that some brands found difficult to preserve has given Clearspring Organic Sunflower Oil a well-deserved 2-star Great Taste Award.

But this oil is not just for cooking. Organic cold-pressed sunflower oil has also been used for skincare and is quite famous among organic skincare advocates.

Applied topically, it can act as a non-greasy emollient. It may also be used as a massage oil and a natural hair and scalp conditioner.
