The Environmental Toothbrush™ brushes use sustainable Moso bamboo in place of plastic toothbrush handles. Unlike plastic, bamboo grows rapidly and is completely biodegradable, and may be added into garden soil or compost. 

With bamboo, there is no risk of deforestation as it grows rapidly, requiring little care and less space. 

With Nylon 6 bristles, this toothbrush uses just the right amount of plastic necessary for oral hygiene. Using a toothbrush with a bamboo handle such as The Environmental Toothbrush™ will help reduce non-recyclable hard plastic waste pollution.

The handle, despite being compostable, is heat-treated to prevent microbes from surviving and multiplying on the surface until it’s time for a replacement. Keeping your toothbrush dry after every use will help it last up to 8 months, but dentists recommend changing toothbrushes at least every quarter.
