Made with amazing, organic ingredients, these digestives are also a dairy and egg-free option. These rich, oaty, nut-free biscuits have a smattering of lovely currants that offer a lovely, sweet and fruity flavour.

Why does Doves Farm use palm oil?

Doves Farm is fully aware of the damage that palm oil cultivation has done to the environment, which is why it's incredibly proud to source its palm oil from RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certified producers in Colombia. 

The reason that palm oil is used is that it is naturally solid at room temperature. Most plant-based oils require hydrogenation to become solid, which is not allowed when working with organic ingredients, so Doves Farm doesn’t have a lot of options. 

Since Doves Farm wants its products to be as inclusive as possible, butter cannot be used as that rules out vegans and those with dairy allergies. Another option is coconut oil, but its strong flavour doesn’t work well for every product. 

That is why Doves Farm uses palm oil, otherwise, delicious treats like this Organic Fruity Oat Digestives wouldn’t be possible.
