Nothing beats the smell of banana bread baking in the oven and cutting a warm slice to have alongside a cup of tea in the afternoon. Yes You Can Gluten-Free Banana Bread Mix makes sweet, spongey, moist banana bread that you just won’t be able to leave alone.
So good, we can’t believe this mix is gluten-free! Try adding two bananas instead of water to the mix and we promise you, you won’t be disappointed.
Cooking Instructions
What you need:
170ml water or 2 bananas
80g melted margarine (dairy free)
Vegan egg replacer
1 loaf tin
Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 160°C (fan oven) or 180°C.
2) Use some kitchen roll to grease your baking tin.
3) Melt the margarine and add to a mixing bowl with the water and egg replacer.
4) Fold in the Yes You Can Gluten-Free Banana Bread Mix until combined.
5) Make sure you scrape down the sides but don’t over-mix.
6) Pour the batter into the baking tin and bake for around 45 - 50 minutes.
7) Use a skewer to check if it’s cooked through by sticking it in the centre of the loaf. It’s done If it comes out clean.
8) Cool on a rack and then slice.
Replace the water in this recipe with 2 bananas if you want a sweeter banana bread with extra flavour!
