Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use my Teapigs Chai Tea Biodegradable Tea Temples to make a Chai Latte?

Firstly, use 1 tea temple to make some tea. Pop the tea temple in a mug and cover with water - about one-quarter of the way up. Leave this to brew for a good 3-5 minutes. The longer you brew the tea, the stronger the flavour. If you’d like your chai latte to have a little sweetness to it, squeeze in some agave syrup or stir in some coconut sugar.

Whilst the tea is brewing you can prepare your plant-based milk alternative. Our favourite for a chai latte is coconut milk, but most alternatives will work well. Heat your milk in a pan on the hob or in the microwave. Once it’s hot give it a quick whisk to make it nice and frothy. Once you’ve done this, pour it into the tea. If you fancy it, add a dusting of ground cinnamon, ginger, or cocoa powder to the top. Lastly, take a seat, relax, and enjoy!
