Frequently Asked Questions

When is it best to choose Suma Wholefoods’ Organic Pesto Rosso over green pesto?

This depends completely on your personal preference, although there are some meals where the red could be more suitable than the green! Since red pesto has a base of tomatoes, it might go better with meals that are made with tomato-based sauces, such as bolognese or lasagne.

Green pesto is considered fresher and can enhance lighter flavoured meals better because of its strong, distinctive taste. Either way, both taste delicious as a sauce on their own or stirred into dishes!

I recommend this product

rich and creamy

I am a pesto snob and this is a GOOD vegan pesto. Doesn't even taste any different to the non vegan stuff. The tomato tastes natural and the consistency is creamy and not too heavy. Really liked !
