Product Overview

Give your food that wow-factor with Profusion’s Himalayan Rose Pink Salt.

Made from unrefined salt crystals formed over 250 million years ago, this hand-harvested Himalayan salt is packed with naturally occurring trace minerals. Just like normal salt, but much less refined, prettier and conveniently packed in a refillable ceramic grinder

Beautiful, pink and ancient, Himalayan salt is typically mined near the Himalayas in Pakistan and is believed to have formed millions of years ago.

Profusion’s salt is hand-extracted and minimally processed to retain its mineral content. Plus, it’s free from all the nasty additives table salt typically has.

Who doesn’t love salt? It adds flavour, increases the aroma of food and has the ability to cut through sweet and savoury dishes. Without it, we’d be lost! Add to curries, sauces, marinades or baked goods, just sprinkle on top and stir it in. Get ready to have your senses elevated!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Himalayan Salt Better than Table Salt?

Much to contrary belief, there is little scientific evidence that Himalayan salt is more beneficial than table salt! However, it typically undergoes much less refinement (if any) than table salt which means it does have higher mineral content, although not enough to get more benefits from it.

Himalayan salt also formed millions of years ago in unpolluted seas, whereas normal table salt contains all the human-emitted pollutants for the last decades of exploration. It’s believed that Himalayan salt is free from pollutants and therefore better for consumption.
