Why does the texture of Nutcessity’s Organic Gingerbread Almond Nut Butter change?
This is coconut-based nut butter. It will change texture depending on the temperature. This is completely normal. When it gets a bit colder outside, try keeping the jar in a warmer spot in the kitchen to keep it spreadable. If it gets too solid, place the jar in some warm water to loosen it up.
In warmer seasons, you may notice the nut butter start to separate. That’s also perfectly normal! Just give it a stir so that it returns to its natural consistency. Consume the jar within 3 months of opening.
