There’s a ton of nut butters out there. But have you had one with a tropical taste? Nutcessity’s Organic Caromel Cashew Nut Butter is such a unique blend that tastes great. We think people agree - which is why it won the Great Taste Award in 2020!
What makes it tropical? The caromel is actually made from the carob plant. It’s a flowering evergreen shrub (or tree) that’s cultivated for its pods. Carob powders and chips have been used to substitute cocoa or chocolate chips in some cases. But carob doesn’t exactly taste like any of the two in particular and still has its own, distinct flavour.
Carob and cashews make this a creamy and rich nut butter. It’s not particularly smooth - it’s still got a bit of texture, but it wouldn’t be classified as “crunchy” nut butter.
Cashews* (37%), coconut*, pumpkin seeds*, carob* & unrefined salt.
*Produced to organic standards.
May contain traces of sesame.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Nutcessity’s Organic Caromel Cashew Nut Butter for anything other than spreading on toast?
We could recommend grabbing a spoon and enjoying Caromel Cashew Nut Butter as it is. Its malty taste works well with fresh or dried fruits. You can add a spoonful to porridge or even spread some on pancakes instead of butter and syrup.
I love this nut butter soooo much. It's really good on toast or crackers, it's very rich and has quite a unique flavour. It could be a bit sweeter for me though because I have a sweet tooth so I add a bit of agave to it
