Sweet, crunchy and mouth-wateringly juicy, this biodynamically grown sweetcorn is an excellent source of fibre, vitamins and minerals, preserved by the most efficient freezing method. It’s literally amazing!
Natural Cool uses Individual Quick Freezing (IQF), a method that preserves nutritional value by freezing the veggies instantly. As soon as the sweetcorn is harvested, the kernels are removed from the cob, blanched, loosely rolled, flash-frozen, packed and metal detected.
Frozen food is actually typically more nutritious than its fresh siblings. After harvest, the nutritional value of fruit and veg starts degrading, but with IQF freezing, they are frozen seconds after being picked, meaning that they keep all of their nutrients.
Sprinkle on salads, enjoy on its own or add to a delicious bean chilli to add a hint of natural sweetness. Chuck into a bowl, slather with plant butter and you’re good to go!
Directions of use
Cook from frozen or leave a portion to thaw in the fridge overnight.
Hob: Place the sweetcorn in a pot with boiling water with some salt. Cook for 3-5 mins, drain and season to taste. Add some moo-free butter to enhance the taste!
Microwave: Place the sweetcorn in a covered bowl with some water and salt. Cook for 4-5 minutes at 750W and stir every minute. Drain, season and slather with butter!
