Product Overview

Check out the Meridian Foods Organic Tahini, available in both Light and Dark varieties.

This delicious Tahini is made with 100% organic and non-GMO sesame seeds for a unique, nutty taste. Certified palm oil-free by POFCAP, Meridian Foods Tahini is not only tasty but environmentally friendly, too.

Tahini is an extremely versatile ingredient. Although it is most commonly used to make hummus, it is also great when added to salad dressings, sauces, dips, and even smoothies!

Another great thing about the Meridian Foods Organic Tahini is that it is extremely rich in vitamins, minerals, protein, antioxidants, and fibre. What’s not to love?

Organic Dark Tahini

This Organic Dark Tahini is made from unhulled sesame seeds (where the skins of the seeds are mixed in) and a dash of sesame oil. This makes it slightly stronger-tasting, with a more bitter flavour than the lighter variety. Unhulled sesame seeds are also richer in vitamins than hulled sesame seeds

Organic Light Tahini

Made with roasted hulled sesame seeds, the Organic Light Tahini has a slightly lighter, more subtle nutty flavour than Dark Tahini. Light Tahini is also (you guessed it) lighter in colour and more versatile when it comes to incorporating it into recipes and sauces.

Ingredients

Organic Light Tahini: Roasted Hulled Sesame Seeds (100%)

Organic Dark Tahini: Roasted Whole Sesame Seeds (98%), Sesame Oil

Frequently Asked Questions

My Tahini has separated. What should I do?

You might open your Meridian Foods Tahini to find that the oil has floated to the top of the jar. This means that the oil has separated, which is completely normal with Tahini.

Just give it a stir and it will return back to its normal state in no time.
