These jarred olives are of Greek origin and have been harvested by hand. Kalamata olives have a distinct mild and fruity taste to them. If you don’t like strong-tasting olives, then this should be good for you.
After the Kalamata Olives have been harvested, they actually go through fermentation that takes about six months to complete. Cured olives are gut-friendly on top of their naturally-occurring Vitamin E and antioxidant properties.
After the harvesting and curing, Mani takes these organic olives and preserves them in extra virgin olive oil. By letting them swim in the oil, these olives actually get lightly-seasoned by it as well.
Olives are great for garnishing dishes. You can even cook with the Kalamata Olives, too.
