Lost and almost forgotten, Hodmedod is on a mission to bring back the once famous fava bean. This indigenous pulse used to be a staple ingredient and has been cultivated in the UK since the Iron Age!
Great for the planet and great for us. Growing fava beans fixes nitrogen from the air and replenishes the soil - they’re typically used as a crop rotation to promote soil health. Plus their flowers are great for the bees!
