Each tea bag is made from natural wood pulp and hemp fibres. No heat is used to seal the tea bags, instead, they are folded down and secured using string. This makes them 100% compostable.

Heath & Heather has recently launched completely plastic-free envelopes. These, along with the cardboard packaging, can be recycled as normal at home.
