Frequently Asked Questions
What dip can I make with Clearspring Wasabi Japanese Horseradish Powder?
We love Clearspring Wasabi Japanese Horseradish Powder in a hummus-inspired dip. To make this you will also need Geo Organics - Edamame Beans in Water, Biona - Organic White Tahini, groundnut oil, Clearspring - Organic Toasted Sesame Oil, one lime, fresh garlic and coriander, salt, and a food processor.
Drain a tin of edamame beans and add into the food processor, with 1 ½ tablespoons of tahini, the juice from the lime, the garlic cloves (finely chopped or pureed), 1 teaspoon of salt and ¼ - ½ teaspoon of Clearspring Wasabi Japanese Horseradish Powder (depending how hot you want it). Blend in the food processor until all the ingredients are mixed and the beans become smooth.
Use a spatula to move the mixture around, then blend again on the lowest setting. Remove the cap so you can then slowly add the oils during blending.
Firstly, add 2 teaspoons of sesame oil. Then slowly add the groundnut oil until the dip becomes creamy. Add chopped fresh coriander to taste and blend again. You can always add more salt, finely grated lime zest, or more Clearspring Wasabi Japanese Horseradish Powder if you want it to have a bit more taste and/or kick.
