This brilliant and keto-friendly Coconut Flour is made by shredding and drying the pulp of Sri Lankan coconuts, then grinding it into a fine powder. It has a pleasant coconut taste and aroma that will add to your baking without overpowering other flavours.

Yes, Clearspring Organic Gluten-Free Coconut Flour is great in savoury dishes. We recommend using it to make Caribbean style dumplings and serving with Tofurky - Lightly Seasoned Chick'n Pieces, peas and onion cooked in Slightly Different - Tropical Curry Sauce.
To make these dumplings for 7 people you will need 450g Clearspring Organic Gluten-Free Coconut Flour; 2 tablespoons Biona - Organic Coconut Palm Sugar; ½ teaspoon of salt (or 1 teaspoon of miso paste); 200g Coconut oil; 100ml coconut milk; and 1 tablespoon of desiccated coconut.
In a large mixing bowl add the coconut oil, coconut milk, coconut sugar and salt. Then using an electric whisk, mix until the sugar and salt have dissolved into the oil and milk (about 3 minutes). Next, incrementally sieve the Clearspring Organic Gluten-Free Coconut Flour and sprinkle the desiccated coconut into the bowl and mix it in using a spatula in a figure of 8 motion. Continue this until all the ingredients have created a dough.
The dough should be firm and not sticky, if it is sticky slowly add more sieved Clearspring Organic Gluten-Free Coconut Flour and continue to use a spatula in a figure of 8 motion until the dough is firm.
Then cut the dough into pieces about the size of a golf ball. Roll each piece into a ball and then flatten until they are about ½ inch thick. Using a slotted spoon slowly lower each dumpling into a pot of boiling water. Boil until they start to float (around 15 minutes) then remove with the slotted spoon. Rest on kitchen roll for 5 minutes to remove excess water before serving.
