Frequently Asked Questions

What is the history of Bio-D?

Michael Barwell, the founder of Bio-D, discovered that many ingredients used in household cleaning products were also found in the products he used to clean and maintain commercial ships, a job which required the wearing of safety equipment, including a respirator.
This prompted him to find naturally derived alternatives that won’t cause harm to those using them and the environment whilst still cleaning efficiently and safely.
