Recipe for a simple summer roll:
Grab a carrot, spring onion, courgette, pepper, some spinach and half an avocado. Slice them up into thin batons of around 15 cm long.
Rehydrate the rice paper by adding to a plate of lukewarm water and soaking until soft.
Remove from water and add a little of each ingredient, don’t forget the avo!
This is where the skill is needed - roll up and try not to break!
We recommend dipping it into a homemade delicious satay dipping sauce. That salty-peanut-y taste is always a people-pleaser! Our mouths are watering already!
pretty easy to use
Wanted to make Vietnamese summer rolls. Was surprised how simple it was, though it's a bit tricky trying to get the technique right (mine looked pretty wonky at first!). These had a nice chewy texture and i filled them with vermicelli, tofu and veggies for some pretty good vegan summer rolls.
