Amisa specialises in bringing you the very best organic and gluten-free products. This Organic Gluten-Free Red Lentil Flour is much higher in protein than other flour alternatives: combine it with a grain and you will have the 9 amino acids that make up a complete protein.

Lentils are an ancient pulse crop, dating back to 11 000 BC in Greece, and are packed full of plant-based nutrition. Amisa’s Organic Gluten-Free Red Lentil Flour is an excellent source of B vitamins, iron, magnesium, potassium, and zinc.

Amisa’s Organic Gluten-Free Red Lentil Flour is delicious and versatile. It can be used to create sweet and savoury baked goods as well as sauces.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make tortilla-style wraps with Amisa Organic Gluten-Free Red Lentil Flour?

Soak 1 part Amisa Organic Gluten-Free Red Lentil Flour to 2 parts water for between 2 and 6 hours (if you soak for more than 6 hours, put in the fridge to prevent fermentation). After soaking, season with salt and pepper (and we suggest adding Marigold Health Foods’ Engevita Nutritional Yeast Flakes) and blend in a food processor until it’s a smooth batter.

Heat a non-stick frying pan on the hob and add a splash of vegetable oil. Use a ladle to add the batter to the pan and spread it out so it covers the entire surface of the pan. When the edge of the wrap begins to brown, flip it over and cook the other side for a couple of minutes.
