Aconbury’s Mixed Beans & Pulses for Sprouting are a great addition to any salad, soup, casserole or sandwich. The sprouts will provide excellent nutrition, while they are also effective antioxidants.

The Mixed Beans & Pulses for Sprouting contain 500g of organically grown Mung Beans, Chickpeas, Adzuki Beans, and Green and Brown Lentils,

Rich in Vitamin C, Calcium and Iron, bean and lentil sprouts canhelp protect against cell damage and may reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease.

Aconbury Sprouts began in 1986 when a friend of Jim Hardy worked as a cook at an alternative cancer treatment centre. He started adding sprouts to his patients’ meals.

The business soon took off and started supplying health food stores. The business has been successful ever since and has won the 2006 award of best new fruit and vegetable product at the Food and Drink Expo!

How to sprout

Easily grown in a jar by covering the beans and lentils with 2 inches of warm water, they can quickly sprout within 2-3 days.

Using a mixture of 100g of the Mixed Beans & Pulses will produce 250g of fresh sprouts in a couple of days.
